During the weekend of Saturday 15 to Sunday 16 June, thousands of participants are running a 40 km long sponsored run for emergency aid for refugees in the middle of the night.

The Night of the Refugee starts simultaneously from 5 locations in the country. There is a route from Rotterdam> The Hague, from Nijmegen> Arnhem, from Utrecht> Amersfoort, from Amsterdam> Haarlem and from Camp Westerbork> Groningen. A tough and unforgettable experience. The walk starts at midnight sharp. On Saturday 15 June there will also be a 10 and 20 km run in the evening in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

What is the goal?
Collect together the highest possible amount for emergency aid to refugees and displaced persons in the region. For people who are fleeing war, conflict and oppression worldwide. In addition to raising money, the runners with their participation draw attention to refugees worldwide in a positive way.
